Don't necessarily agree with the discipline point. While not wanting to do something could occasionally be an indicator that your time would be better spent elsewhere, "doing what you want to do because you want to do it" is inevitably gonna result in short-sighted and self-destructive behavior. Many of the most worthwhile things in life come from doing difficult things, especially when you don't want to do them.
Understood and of course I get all that. I wouldn't have kept two newsletters going if I didn't understand that - but see this article as a thought experiment. Do you really NEED discipline?
Appreciate your thoughts on this one!
I’m with you choosing to swim in the lake over going to the gym 😊 I much prefer hula hooping to ‘working out’😂
haha nice

I highlighted about 5 of the main points so I can review them and re-wire my brain about work & life.
Thank you, sir!
Awesome Matt!
Damn, Alex. Gratitude, Passion, and no-dread happy activity. Rinse and repeat. I am indebted!
You got it Jason
Pretty nice advice! Actually the stoics say that discipline is better than motivation, but you definitely left me thinking.
This was mind-, spirit-, and world-expanding! Thank you 🙏
