One can sum all of this up as, you never know what someone else is thinking. You never know what is going on in other people's lives. Everyone lives in the center of their own universe; you are just a blip.

Thanks for making everyone's lives easier, friend ;)

Very insightful words of wisdom. Thank you! Can I ask why do we sometimes believe others negative thoughts about ourselves?

Alex Mathers's avatar

thanks! Because we forget that the alternative in that moment is to let go.

Keep this in mind; people’s behaviors are much more rooted in instinct than any other factor.

Alex Mathers's avatar

yes, but most of us are not aligned with true instinct any more. Thoughts have become the new god.

13. Trolls deliver negative words to you because they want your attention. They are attention beggars and are begging for your attention.

Because they are poor guys deprived of attention, they will do anything for a bit of attention.

They troll because they aren't even noticed unless they troll someone. They have nothing useful or interesting to say, so they troll others to get attention.

Time and attention are the two fundamental currencies in the universe. They are the real money.

Don't waste your money on attention beggars. Spend money on yourself and people you care about.

If you don't waste your money on attention beggars, these beggars will still obsess with you and feed you with all the negative attention you need to funnel traffic to your products.

Billions of people are ignored and treated as second-class citizens. Even negative attention is a delicious food to them.

About #6 in your list. Yes, people forget one's mistake and move on, but sometimes after inaccurately pigeonholing or classifying one. To which you would say that another's opinions shouldn't matter. Yeah, I know....

this is true

I’m curious. Did you recently read “Conscious Accomplishment”? Based on a few things I’ve read from your recent stuff, it seems like you have. Amazing book by the way.

Alex Mathers's avatar

Hey, I have not read that :)
