Love it. Interesting bit about performative outrage being linked to status.

I always see your posts at exactly the right time.

This has just answered so many unanswered questions I had.... Although it didn't really- what I mean by that is, I already knew. I just couldn't admit it. So thank you. Always grateful for your insight 🙌🏻

woohoo that's awesome. Any point particularly helpful?

Yes!

1. People giving advice = it's for themselves

2. People talk about their values = they don't live by them

3. Difference = angry at themselves.

Honestly, all three were highlighted to me within a very tense situation on Friday with someone I was in a relationship with. At the time I couldn't understand why he behaved the way he did but reading this today, I get it. I am sad that I have now lost that person but I also cannot fix this for him.

yes! These ideas can help smooth out the inevitable bumps of relationships... Glad it helped!

Our being different reminds people of their own short comings. I love that one. That's helpful for me to remember....

As usual you are right on.

My Dad used to tell me "nobody cares about what you are doing" lol

not in an insensitive way but it is actually the truth :)

Dads often speak a whole lot of truth. Thanks Charles!
