I used to be super uptight and take things far too seriously.
It only brought me headaches, lost friendships, and a sense that life was running away.
Many people live in constant tension like a spider’s about to jump out from a curtain to devour their hair. But there’s a simpler way to move through life.
By seeing yourself, others and the world a little differently, you can dissolve uptightness, care less about what others think or say, and be healthier and happier:
Here are some ideas to help you transform your experience:
By understanding that all that we feel comes from our thoughts, moment by moment, anxiety dissolves.
Tightening up never puts you in control; it only destroys your creative spirit.
Worrying is a woeful misuse of your imagination.
When you see that you’re living in the feeling of your thinking, not your situation, a weight lifts.
No other human being has the power to reduce your self-worth because you can’t diminish that which is a mind-created idea.
Your natural state is peace and clarity; everything else is temporary thought, creating the illusion that you have something to defend.
Notice how other people’s behaviour comes from their own thought-created reality, which will create empathy.
The quality of your life transforms when you understand that being offended or flustered is always optional.
Life becomes lighter when you recognise that your mind’s stories about what might go wrong (or what is wrong) are just thoughts with zero meaning.
Freedom comes from seeing that you are not your achievements, failures, or reputation.
The less you buy into the ‘seriousness’ of your own thoughts, the more space is created for beautiful creative insight that just feels right.
The happiest people realise they can access happiness whenever they want, not when conditions are perfect.
When you stop trying to control life and start dancing with whatever shows up, you access a natural state of flow which nourishes you.
Life becomes simple when you see how you’re either living in the spirit of pure creative flow or caught up in thought.
Your new life can start right now, with a commitment to enjoying yourself in any shape, form or situation.
You can’t outwork someone who is having fun.
Let go, have fun, and watch your life transform.

First of all I hope that you Alex are doing great, my best wishes to you in the new year.
I was here sitting and drinking my morning coffee debating in my mind and what to do, kind of worried about what other people may or may not think of me, I’m listening to Mozart in the background and then my phone alert me that I had a notification, and it was your post, thank you so very much, I was worried about external circumstances instead of feeling myself, being me, loving me, to feel and be the best of me.
Is crazy but I’m just amazed that it happened just like that. Have a blessed year. 😊
I love your writing Alex. I read all yours emails. I enjoy what you talk about
