First of all I hope that you Alex are doing great, my best wishes to you in the new year.

I was here sitting and drinking my morning coffee debating in my mind and what to do, kind of worried about what other people may or may not think of me, I’m listening to Mozart in the background and then my phone alert me that I had a notification, and it was your post, thank you so very much, I was worried about external circumstances instead of feeling myself, being me, loving me, to feel and be the best of me.

Is crazy but I’m just amazed that it happened just like that. Have a blessed year. 😊

"The less you buy into the ‘seriousness’ of your own thoughts, the more space is created for beautiful creative insight that just feels right." - Meditation really helps with this.

Great set of sentences - thank you Alex!

“The happiest people realise they can access happiness whenever they want, not when conditions are perfect.”

—- This one hit home. Waiting for perfection or the “right (fill in the blank)” has only impacted me negatively. You can be happy, in the mess, in the process.

“The quality of your life transforms when you understand that being offended or flustered is always optional.”

— I had to sit and absorb this statement. I wish I read this a long time ago, I would have saved myself from a lot of high emotional reactions. But it’s okay.. We can start here, right now.

"You can’t outwork someone who is having fun." I needed to hear this today! Time to go have some fun.

Loved this - like a pocket guide for not losing the plot (or your mind). I collect words while traveling, so this felt like a philosophical souvenir shop. Keeping “Don’t speak unless you can improve the silence” tucked in my carry-on.
