I love your writing but I think this one was one of my favorites so far. It's hard to find low dopamine forms but I've appreciated so much when I do find them.
Look to other sources of semi-passive entertainment like reading fiction, people-watching, doodling, sun-gazing, bird-watching, or just watching the ocean waves crash in.
Brilliant. “Take action, regardless of how you feel.” This one saves me life constantly. We can’t think our way into right action but we can act our way into right thinking.
Loved the post! Currently in a stage of doing things regardless of how I'm feeling! This didn't use to be an issue for me- I used to squash whatever I was feeling to do the thing. Then I went to the other end of the extreme and squashed thing if it didn't align with how I was feeling. Currently working on finding the balance between the 2! What inspired you to write about this topic???
Alex, I always look forward to your insights and advice. Once, again, your writing style makes me feel we’re having a conversation over a coffee, or a whiskey! I love the pruning analogy. I’m gonna go do some pruning. 🌸
Thanks so much for sharing this Alex. it is very easy to get lost/weary in trying to do or take too much at a time. I'm simplifying my life henceforth.
For me it's reading & running.
Brilliant take Alex. Yes, most of us are unhappy & bored because we let the external world dictate our terms of happiness.
Exactly right Zarine, thanks

It’s appreciated Mike!

My main drive behind all my content is helping (me) people connect with their inner dragon - to be more alive and to lead a movement. So this fits.
