This article felt like someone finally put words to instincts I’ve carried for years. Attraction isn’t about performance—it’s about presence, restraint, and the quiet confidence to let mystery breathe. These habits aren’t just magnetic; they’re liberating. They remind me that I don’t need to be louder to be seen. I just need to be real.
This was such an enjoyable read and a cheeky reminder that silence, calm and mystery do far more heavy lifting than we give them credit for. Especially liked the bit about not explaining yourself. It’s amazing how quickly people lean in when you don’t fill the air.
I know a friend whose presence in every conversation screams mystery with deliberate pauses. He walks calmly, talks calmly and you could perceive his breath through every sentence. This makes him a complete mystery and very attractive. So, yeah, you just might be right about this
A couple random, yet related thoughts that came mind:
1. This reminded me of the observer. The one that observes life as it is - not good or bad, but as it is happening.
2. Justifications & explanations are how we learned to we were good or bad, right or wrong. Since we were little we were taught that we had to have a reason behind what we did.
3. This article was rather calming.
4. I don't believe these habits necessarily make people obsessed with us- but it creates a silent, yet powerful respect.
Now I'd love to ask you. What impact do you think these habits have on us (the one who practices these)?
I disagree with this list
no no you can't say that, end your comment and not explain why ;)
I cannot help but be so mysterious!

Very good points. I’ve been using most of them. Especially love #1. I don’t need to explain my convictions.
Appreciate you Mariana!

Most of this sounds false to me
