Positive. Maybe also not getting anger with yourself for feeling a certain way but then recognizing and not letting it ruin your whole day. People can tell you how to feel but it is what it is. Sometimes you have to feel pain. Many people don’t have the strength to feel it. They are able to avoid it or escape by means of privilege or merely power in various ways. Actually facing things is difficult. You can’t run it away.
You’ve done it again, Alex!: You’ve noticed exactly where the problem is, and you put up a bunch of solutions; one or several of which will solve the problem each time it rears itself.
Standing in front of the mirror to SEE yourself I think is very empowering. You might not like what you see, but good or bad it can be what's needed to wake up.
I used to do judo as a child, and when I didn’t want to go, my mom would tell me “just go for 15 mins — if you hate it, we can leave after that.” I hardly ever left after 15 mins.
There’s something about just DOING something that relaxes you and washes away a great deal of resistance.

I like the “do it for one minute” tip.
